As stated in The Little, Brown Compact Handbook, English, foreign languages, and some other humanities use the documentation style of the Modern Language Association. When using MLA. Style you twice acknowledge the sources of borrowed material. You do it in your text, a brief parenthetical citation right after the borrowed material. Also at the end of your paper in a complete list of works cited. The in-text citations should correspond with the list of works cited and vis versa.
